  12 Noon Okra Strut Charity Golf Tournament   15th Annual St. Andrews Kiwanis charity tournament is four-person Captain's Choice at Rawls Creek Golf Club.  Fee includes cart, green fees, food, beverages and prizes.

  7:30 am Dam Run to Irmo   The annual run (6.2 miles, 10k) is scheduled to begin on the Lexington side of the Lake Murray Dam.
      You can register on-line at www.strictlyrunning.com or call David Wright at 622-4258.  Sponsored by the Rotary Club of St. Andrews-Columbia.

Enjoy high energy performances by Phil Urban and the TCB Band followed by beach music favorites The Band of Oz.. 

The Midlands Public Service and Public Safety Officers and brave festival-goers will compete in the ever-so-popular Okra-Eating Contest.  There will be plenty of food, amusements, and, of course, fried okra!

  9:00 am First Citizens Okra Strut Parade
The largest festival parade in South Carolina!  More than 100 units participating, including Okra Man, floats, beauty queens, marching bands and more.  The parade begins at Crossroads Middle School, travels down St. Andrews Road, and ends at Lake Murray Boulevard.

Irmo Okra Strut Saturday
Presented by Palmetto Health - Parkridge. 

 

Join in the fun for plenty of your favorite festival foods, arts and crafts, amusements, special events and community and business exhibitors.  The Dr. Carol French Okryland favorites return with a kid's make and take crafts area and the creative "Okrafitti Street" sidewalk art.

 Get your fresh okra and a variety of vegetables at the Vegetable Market adjacent to the Palmetto Health Saturday Showcase Stage.    

 

Get your free coupon to redeem for great prizes from area merchants in the Great Okra Giveaway!  Coupons are available at any of the festival Ticket Centers, and the PodShop & Guest Services Center or by clicking here.  Drawings will be take place at 11:00 am and 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 pm on the Showcase Stage.
